Última Hydrologie et distribution de dinophysis en juin 1988, dans la frange côtière nord-Gascogne ArchiMer Lassus, Patrick; Truquet, Philippe; Le Dean, Loic; Bardouil, Michele. During the oceanographic cruise of June 1988, phytoplankton and correlated hydrological parameters were studied in the coastal area between Camaret and Ile d'Oléron. 62 stations were sampled in the 0-30 m layer within the 50 m depth limited coastal area. Observations focused on two toxic dinoflagellate species: Dinophysis spp and Gyrodinium aureolum. Dinophysis spp is more abundant in the Loire/Vilaine area, which is.characterized by high surface Nitrate levels, high 30 m depth Phosphate levels and Chlorophyll a amounts higher than elsewhere during the survey. This particuliar pattern can be related to the Nutrient outputs of Loire and Vilaine Rivers. Max.
